BABIES LEARN TO SEE ANDSEE…. TO LEARN.

Babies can’t see as well when they are born and images are in black and shades of grey.Vision develops over a period of the first few months as the eyes and the visual system develops.
Healthy eyes and good vision play a critical role in how infants and children learn to see. Eye and vision problems in infants can cause developmental delays.
Baby’s eyes focus up to about 8-10 inches till about 3 months of age. The ability of coordination of both eyes also develops rapidly as the focus improves. They may appear to wander and this is a normal process.
3D vision and depth perception develops over 5-months as does color perception.
Hand eye co ordination improves from 3-12 months as the child learns to move and crawl
